Prof Alcides Costa Vaz (University of Brasilia) held a Master Class at the HIGS and gave a public lecture on "Brazil's Strategy in Global Security Affairs" on 1 March.

The GIGA welcomes Dr Anja Jetschke as the new academic director of the HIGS.
